7M-GE starter

i searched and didnt find anything..

how the eff do you take that top bolt off? good god my hands arent meant to bend that way!

is there a trick i should know about before i practically pull the motor?

any help appreciated as usual.

you could always pull off the driveshaft and take off the rear mount bolts from the transmission and tilt the engine back (and if your car is old enough the motor mounts as ell)

=) thats more of the way i take off the bellhousing too

Yup. Extension + swivel + extension + socket run under the intake. Don't use a cheap socket and run the risk of rounding off the nut. Then you get to take the whole intake off so you can get to it. I learned that the hard way...

If you are replacing the starter get a starter for a 91 supra. The housing of the starter is threaded so you don't need the nut any more, it's also slightly smaller/shorter.

is this true? I am in the process of changing my starter to and this could be really helpful. Do i have to get a new solenoid and connectors or is it just a simple plug in and fits existing equipment?
