Your probably woundering why do i want an aftermarket one?
Well i dont really need, its more of a want, mine looks really shitty....

There are people welding up fuel rails, from the billet fuel rail stock found on eBay,
but they look worse than the stock one.

The LIPP rail is very impressive looking.
They should also have the ss fuel lines, and aftermarket regulators.

the more important question though is what is the pressure loss incurred by the OEM fuel rail when flowing that much fuel to support 1k hp?

FOr those motec folks, the answer is a two pressure sensors away. 1 within and inch of the fuel pump and the other right of the fuel pressure regulator. You should see ZERO pressure delta but more than likely at those volumes, you will have significant delta between both.

I doubt if you would see any pressure drop from one end of the stock fuel rail to the other.
Six 1000cc injectors, if running at 100% duty cycle, is only about 1.5 gallons per minute.
Not the gusher that some people seem to think.

The ID of the stock fuel rail is 9-10mm.
Pressure loss with those numbers for hydraulic oil,
which is much thicker than gas, is only 1.5psi.
I doubt any pressure sensor, short of all out lab equipment would even register a pressure drop with gas.

Do you realize how much braided line cost? you could buy a set of injectors with how much the line and fittings would cost, maybe even a master power turbo depending on what brand and how fancy you get.

It's all good I dont mind buying lines. May actually spend more money and swap over colors all together.

you are forgetting one important thing. It is not pressure that dictates pressure delta it is volume in relation to the area which is actually tied to speed of fluid ;) The key words are critical Velocity, which once attained can not be surpased. That is why even air obeys such law and why intake restrictors work ;)

I was talking velocity, that is what determines pressure drop through a pipe, orifice, bend in the flow path, etc..
(degree in fluid power, and 20 years experience in the field designing systems)

But don't take my word for it, go pick up a book on flows & pressure drops.

Don't have to. Fluid Dynamics is what those books are based on. ;)
