Guys,I am going to dyno my new (single turbo) setup soon...
I am running a GT72 DBB turbo 0.70 A/R (PHR Stage 3) on a stock motor
with only 264 HKS cams and BC springs & retainers. Also have some
Greddy cam and underdrive pulleys along with an ATI crank pulley.
Fuel system up to four digit HP. 4'' down pipe/mid pipe and 3.15'
cat back exhaust. No cats. Manual transmission. AEM standalone.
My question is: how much HP should I expect to see on the dyno
pushing about 16 psi on 95 octane pump gas ?
And where should I put my redline on the AEM ? Stock is 6800 rpms...
7500 rpms or 8000 rpms?. My 72mm turbo is DBB, twin scroll with a
0.70 A/R hot side (Q trim) and is located on a devided HKS GT exhaust
manifold. I see full boost about 4500 rpms...
I am pointing this out cause when I am racing vs another car,and I
will upshift to the next gear usually afterthat I am going to be off boost...
