i have the same problem, but it feels to me like its coming from the tranny. it gets progressively worse as you go faster... till you hear the ashtray and the keys shaking and can see the dash vibrating. but its more of an intense vibration than a shake

Torque wrench all the way, no air impact here.

Did an inspection today with the car in the air, everything seemed to be normal. No play at all in the tie rod ends maybee the tinyest amount in ball joints. Going to hit up a tire shop and get all 4 wheels rechecked for balance to eliminate that factor atleast.

Have front and rear wheels check for alignment.

Pretty much what I have going on, wouldnt be the tranny tho since it would vibrate depending on rpms not speed. Have you had your stock 2 piece driveshaft apart before?

Need one of those too, cars pulls to the right. Going to get it done same day as tires (another shop in the same building that does alignments)

no, but the vibration feels like its coming from the tranny tunnel... maybe bent driveshaft then?

i dont know what previous owners may have done though, supposedly the engine was rebuilt, but i have no receipts

Not too common to have a bent ds, more so out of balance.

877m mentioned a stuck caliper (which would warp a rotor) but noone really followed up with it. Rotors can look/feel good and still be warped. If the vibration was caused by the rotor and its not starting to do it until like 70 theyre only slightly warped and you would need to measure runout to tell.

Check your U-joints that would make the car shake, could be your front alignment or suspension. You can do it by yourself it costs about 500 at a shop.. Dont spend any money or take it somewhere without knowing what it is, from experience, I got new tires and got them balanced and came out with more problems i went in with.
