680cc with Lexus AFM to get 450hp?

i just bought a set of 680cc venom injectors, and a 255lph fuel pump, metal head gasket, arp head bolts, 3" exhaust and a manual boost valve for my supra mk3 turbo, my goals are 450rwhp, i still have a few things to buy, i am planning to buy a lexus maf to get like 17 psi and a fsd to get the extra 5psi, the question is: is a t4 turbo stage 5 enougth? will the lexus maf work good with the 680cc injectors? what else do i need to achive my goals¿ any help will be appreciated

return the injectors and please search. venoms suck. 550cc injectors will be more than enough to get you where you want to be.

The Lexus part is an AFM, not a MAF. And it only works with 550cc injectors - Lexus AFM is 25% bigger than the Supra, stock is 440, 440 x 125% = 550.

If you don't balance it, you'll just end up running stupid rich.

So... you either need smaller injectors, or a different air metering system, like a MAFT or MAFT Pro.

^Grim is right on the money, and so are the other guys on the venom injectors. Venom are just bored out stockers that don't flow correctly and will crap out on you. Get RC or PTE injectors, BTW, 550cc injectors are more than enough for 450 HP .

Edit:: The whole "stage 5" of a turbo is nothing but a gimic on egay. Most of those turbos on there have stupid large A/R that won't spool until you're way up there in the RPMs. The only reason I'm getting a "stage 5" BOSS turbo is because LIPP and ITS actually do have true "stages" to their turbos. If you want a good direct bolt on turbo, search for Malloynx's threads and you'll see he was making well over 500 HP on his stage 5 BOSS 67 trim. I've also heard that sound performance has decent turbos, but some are experiencing oiling issues with them, but that could be solved by now with the newer models. SP turbos are also direct bolt on.

680cc injectors have been proven to work with the Lexus AFM. I wouldn't use venoms though.

I bought "800cc's". Yeah right.

I sent them off to get flow tested, and I got a 880cc, two 680cc's, one something near a 720 with bad spray, and the other two were different too. None were "800cc" that I wanted.

I never opened the plastic bags they came in, sent them straight to get tested, just as venom sent them to me.

If by chance you bought a 255 off eRip, good chance it's a chinese Walbro counterfiet, and won't even push 255 l/h.

I have seen a lot of blown 7Ms because of garbage parts.

PTE brand injectors on ebay have the same problems as Venom!!! I have a flow chart and a melted piston to prove it too!

which seller. there are authorized vendors on ebay, and some that aren't.

Also, some of the PTE's sold on ebay aren't machined yet to fit into the fuel rail and head of the 7M. Always make sure you are buying from an authorized dealer when it comes to fuel systems, or at least a very reputable person with good feedback and good past experiences.

ND make 550 injectors that will fit in the 7m. you can use the injectors out of an 87 rx-7, i belive there are some of them with high and some with low imp. injectors tho. But thats what mine are --->

I'm using 720's with a lex AFM Of course, the emanage helps too
