Im running a 57trim at 10 PSI on "stock fuel" system.

Im running a walbro pump, and stock 440cc injectors with a NA fuel pressure regulator. Im un-tuned and running high comp NA pistons.

Im jsut under fuel cut and have been running for a few months like that now. I couldnt be happier
A couple of months proves nothing.

I ran 22 psi on literally stock fuel system on a 60-1 upgraded CT for a couple months. On a stock head gasket, too, none of this MHG nonsense! (Don't try this at home, folks, I was TRYING to blow up the motor, and I was successful.) ~4 months in, I managed to pop the head gasket, so I pulled the motor and dropped in the forged replacement I had sitting in the garage.

Pulling apart the engine that popped, I discovered a lot of damage.
- 2 pistons had disintegrated the ringlands
- 1 piston had melted the top edges
- Head gasket was severely blown due to detonation
- 2 rod bearings were toast

The engine was running fine - a fair bit of blowby, but it was pulling HARD, and still passed the local smog checks. The damage had obviously been there for a while, it didn't all happen in the last few hours I ran it.

If you are going to post borderline solutions, I expect you to have proof that it works. By proof, I'd like to see dyno tuning sessions with logged EGT, AFR, and use electric ears to detect knock.

Otherwise, I expect to see you back here in 6 months with a 'new and improved' build thread.

I cant wait to do a glory run. I think the guys that run the dyno would make me clean up the coolant though, not looking forward to mopping the floors.

you should be able to get away with 400ish hp guaranteed the 440cc's are in good working order. for added reassurance i would atleast get an aeromotive afpr. it looks like hes done some nice things with the motor and you wouldnt want anything to happen to it right?

im surprised that your car isnt leaning out up top considering that the NA fpr doesnt raise fp as boost increases

Agreed...

get the 550's and the pump. Its hard to tell when your fuel system runs lean, by the time you do its too late. I did 432rwhp with a 57trim at 18psi, 100 oct, lex/550, walbro, stock fpr.
