Hi, put the car on the dyno this weekend.
It made 344whp and 454lbs of torque on a mustang dyno. I was pretty amazed by that amount of torque!
My question is : I send my spare turbo to albert to get a 60-1 with an exhaust wheel clip.
I expect to made more hp (maybe 40 to 50, so near 400) but what about torque?? I just dont know if i will loose torque with a bigger turbo wheel, made the same or made more!!!

Here are my mods to help you :
57 trim ct26 19 PSI (on dyno only)
560cc evo injector
walbro+afpr
lex maf
full 3inch exhaust (magnaflow hi-flow cats...)
2.5 intercooler and piping
AFR tune to 11.0 with APEXI NEO
Aluminium driveshaft( i dont think it do something to HP)
thats about it.
run 94 octane

Those numbers...seem just a tad high.
Nice none the less, but seem a tad high.

If accurate, I can not WAIT wo install my turbo haha, I would like to see the same numbers :)

it was a dyno day at our local supra meet. Many supra were tested the same day. Most people were impressed with the torque. HP seem normal. One thing i know is that my engine is strong and my turbo almost new...

Don't forget he has high compression pistons and aggressive timing

Clipped exhaust wheel will cause a bit more lag, so the low end torque won't be as high...but your max torque peak should be just as good.

Remember: [(TQ x RPM) / 5,252] = HP

The hit is it doesn't take into effect VE, but that's another discussion.

Keep in mind it also works in reverse. [(HP x 5252) / RPM] = TQ

As long as your RPM is the same, TQ and HP will both climb.

Why does it seem a tad high? 57 trims can turn out around 400rwhp at 16 psi

The hp numbers sound fine, really nice too.

The tq numbers however, all though it being an I6, seems quite high.

Just compared to other set-ups i've seen in the past, that tq just seems high.

Not saying it's impossible, but if anything I just hope I get those numbers when I put mine in :D

If you use the formula Poodles just mentioned and guesstimate the RPM at peak torque it comes out pretty darn close. Don't most dynos by default measure horespower and just use the formula to calculate the torque? There's no reason to try and measure both if you have the other 2 variables of the equation.

numbers like this make me wish i had a 7mgte :p with just an upgraded ct26. Id be happy with that kind of power.
It takes a lot more than "just an upgraded CT26" to make those number :p

arias pistons .020 over, ferrea valves +1 mm, BC 264 cams in and ex, 660cc injectors,AEM standalone, water/meth, 94 pump gas, don't know how much the timing was modified.
