Thanks for all the great info guys. I was thinking I would be ok with the 57 trim CT but I just wanted to be sure before I spent the money. So now I can't wait to get my car back together. With the 3" BIC downpipe, 3" test pipe, and 3" Chinaman exhaust I have comming, it sounds like I shouldn't be disapointed. :evil2:

any answers to my post? how to tell the difference physically what trim ct u have?

No visual differences..learn to search google or wikipedia
Trim size is calculated by the exducer diameter multiplied by itself divided by the inducer diameter multiplied by itself all times 100

fail. compressor housing is bored out to fit a bigger wheel into the housing. unless you meant no visual difference outside..

from what i have read, once you go lex afm/550's, you may have a hard time trying to get it to run right because of the adjustable screw on the lex housing. it's also recommended to get a fuel pressure regulator once you go that route, and people also seem to have trouble fiddling with that once it's installed.

thats why im scared to go much further at this point. i need a reliable setup for a while, so hopefully i can just stick with the stock afm and injectors right now with my 57 trim installed without hitting fuel cut. it's all buttoned up by the way. gotta go to sleep for work, but the test drive will be tomorrow!! ill personally let everyone know if youre gonna hit fuel cut with a 57 trim, bpu upgrades and a stock afm haha wish me luck!

Can't wait to hear results. I'm in the midst of putting in a reman 7mgte. I have a 57 trim ct already and 3" turbo back. How much boost are you at? What mods?

I was at 10 psi with an MBC before we pulled the junk motor on stock fuel and ecu. Any chance I can turn it up a notch or two safely? Obviously after I break the new motor in.

i did the same set up and i did hit fule cut the car ran like a beast when i happend and i fell in love all over again.. i put a boost controller on it and have been riding ever since.. cant wait to finish, i have the lex afm, fuel pump, with 55os and afpr on the way..

my only problem is i cant find a r154 for sale in my area.. i still have my w58 in, don't know how long it will last???

I run a 57 trim CT26, 36 PSI fuel pressure at idle (with vacuum), Lex with the stock screw about half way out, and have no problems at all. Mixture richens up under boost to between 9.5 and just under 11:1, and the engine runs like a dream at light load. Also have 3" high flow single cat exhaust, larger intercooler and hardpipes (made little difference) and a Walbro fuel pump.

should i wait to put all the other parts on at the same time or can i do them one by one....like the fp, etc... cause i have the fp, lex afm, but no 550, and no afpr???
