A friend of mine found this company on a different forum because he knew I was looking for injectors. I emailed the company and got a response back that they do sell injectors for a 7mgte. A balanced set of 6 550cc inectors with upper and lower o-rings and connectors $479. It gets better there balanced within 1-2%, come with a flow report and a 12 month no fault warranty. I have not yet bought them yet don't have the money but I mainly created this to get some input from people to see if this is a pretty good deal.

This company have a name? I would be wary about buying injectors without feedback. Is their warranty going to cover your freshly built motor?

it sounds average to me.

i wouldnt pay more than $70/injector and $0/clip... especially when you can go to ANY junk yard and find the injector clips you want and buy/steal them for MUCH less.

I have a set of RC550's with RC clips on my motor that's on the engine stand for sale. Was trying to sell them with the motor so someone would take everything and make some space in the garage. No takers as of yet so might start to part the engine out. I know I could beat their price.
RC injectors are tried and proven, but they cost more new, guess you are buying some piece of mind along with the injectors.

Sorry for the hyjack.

They are still in my motor which is sitting on the engine stand. I am about to start parting it out.

I will sell for probably 300.00 shipped, for RC injectors and RC injector clips.

hate to break it to you, but when it comes to injectors:

1) don't fuck around
2) you get what you pay for
3) you gotta pay to play.

the last thing you want is some crappy no-name injector being the cause of melted pistons in your motor. for me, the extra couple hundred bucks is well worth the fact that i KNOW my injectors are working properly.

No I certainly agree with you on all those things but if you can find injectors that are good quaility but maybe cheaper on one site than another thats mainly what i ment by what I said. Trust me I the same way with my tools I dont want my shit to round off bolts or nuts so I only by the best that money can buy. Nothing worse than breaking a tool and you dont have a spare one or rounding a nut off because its a sloppy cast wrench instead of a machined one.

Deatschwerks is big with the WRX/STI/Subaru crowd.

For the 7M they are rebranded Denso's matched and balanced.

They have a pretty good reputation.

If thats the case they should be direct replacements without a need for any clips right?

not if they are denso's like the ones used in Mazdas, hondas or mitsubishis.

those are square plug. the 7m has a very unique connector.

i prefer to use factory injectors... which is why i started using RX7 injectors in my projects back in 2001 ;) if you look, youll find i was like the first guy to put them in a DSM. :naughty:
