I can't seem to find it right now but there was a great guide as to what you need to do/think about when aiming for different horsepower brackets. Maybe someone else will know what I'm talking about and link it. I'll let you know what I can think of off the top of my head right now.

Obvious necessities:
High flow fuel pump
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Injectors - 550cc MAY be enough, but if you're buying new ones anyways, you might want to go bigger for the headroom. It's not much more for injectors larger than 550cc vs the 550cc.
Some sort of piggy back or EMS
Intake
Exhaust

Some things you should consider:
Bottom end rebuild - overbuilding is always better than exit rod stage left
Cams + Cam Gears - just a little extra fine tuning with a better lift for more flow
Valve springs - If you've got it apart already and are doing adjustments and whatnot, why not? Much easier to do them now than later. Comp Cams 975 springs do the trick with stock hardware assuming you're not going hardcore cams and they're < $75.

I know there's probably lots more that I've missed, but it's a start. Good luck and looking forward to seeing the results :)

Sounds like you're off to a good start at least. You should do something with the bottom end of the engine (rods, hardware, pistons). If you don't have ARP hardware for your head bolts/studs and a metal headgasket, add that to the list. Make sure you have a clutch that can handle the power.

Oh yeah those 720's you might as well get a standalone. I've had 680's and they were very hard to tune on the piggy back I have. I now have PTE 580 injectors and they are great and I still run rich with a bolt on JT58 turbo at 13psi for now. But I've run 20 psi and was about 430rwhp and still running really rich.

Like previous post said go standalone. I am going AEM with 1000cc injectors and twin walbro fuel pumps. You can never have too much fuel. Go to 7mpower.com just in case you have not seen this it has the definitive guide to building a 7M.
