Lol .....so what is the final consensus on Nos?? i consider myself mechanically inclined lol but as much fun as it sounds nos has always scared me... i would love a 50 hp shot but what would be the best way to go about it my supra is my dd and i dont make enough money to experiment with something i know relitivly nothing about... should i stay away from it or is nos something i can tune my maft pro for and be fine???

so you revived a 4 year old thread, to answer your own question? "my supra is my dd and i dont make enough money to experiment with something i know relitivly nothing about"... i would say stay away. what kind of mods do you have done if any?

lol i guess i did:) i like the thought of nos being that it keeps my car more "driveable" with less hp but the extra boost is there if i want/need it, but everytime i mention the word everyone always freaks out telling me how bad nos is...its gonna ruin my engine and why bother when i already have a turbo!!! this thread is the first place i have heard good things said about it... my car has 3000 miles on the rebuild is stock right now 3" exhaust 10 lbs boost.... but i have a k&n airfilter, a big intercooler with new pipes, a big blow off valve, a masterpower t70turbo 4" exhaust, aeromotive fpr, walbro fuel pump, and the complete maft pro install solution from suprasport either sitting in my garage or on its way to my house:)

So add these new toys youre getting, then if you still wanting more, get a MBC and turn it up a little...if you still want the bottle look into the Cry02 kit. C02 instead of nitrous, just to cool the air charge, which turbos like

Are you still running stock injectors? That would be my next purchase unless you forgot to mention them.

if your a nobb at nos stuff just run a zex setup

zex tubo kit not reg kit or it will not regulate the fuel propley and just go hella rich at upper rpms

unless i am mistaken the maft pro should work as a boost controller... and its not the "bottle look" i am going for increased spool time ... with this setup (and bigger injectors) my turbo should kick my ass but i want a faster launch lol i dont wanna "wait" thats why i am inquiring about nos

that sounds awesome and is exactly what i am looking for thanks:)

Edit: would i have to alter my tune to run the zex?? could the wet shot compensate properly for the tuning or would i have to richen my mixture ... if thats the case would running a "nos tune" cause a substantial over rich condition when i am not running nos??? or cause noticeable proformance issues??? and what about retarding my timing 2deg???

i see that it has a

" Unique nozzle design has Active Fuel Control™ built in. This feature monitors bottle pressure and
when the nitrous system is engaged, it adds or subtracts enrichment fuel so the engine never runs
too rich or too lean"

but does this mean that i can run it twice a week to once a month and not tax my engine??? or is that just a risk i would take running nos???

like when your racing your buddy to the train tracks that are exactly a 1/4 mile from the stop light...... as the train is coming around the bend full speed
