i was wondering if a 50 trim ct26 is good for making reliable hp, how much hp would i expect to get from one adn how much should i pay for one with a fresh rebuild, with 0 miles on it.

a 50 trim isnt worth it imho. its such a small step up from the stock wheel youd just be better off getting a rebuild and be done with it or going with a 57 trim whell. check out mdc as mentioned above

60-1 is too big for a ct26 housing if you want reliability. 57 trim seems to be the best for power and longevity. You can make around 375whp max with a 50 trim, and the spool is pretty fast. 57 trim spools almost the same and can make around 400whp, maybe a little more. All the threads from a while back about people blowing up their ct26 were all 60-1 iirc.

Had my 60-1 for about 4 months I want to say and I haven't had any problems with it.
Then again it has a t-4 center housing, not sure how much that would affect anything?
In my own opinon, if it's done right and done by a good company, and you take care of it, there's no reason it shouldn't last long.
Anything to add or correct me on Aaron?
