You TRIED to kill a 7m and failed? Color me impressed haha... Reminds me of when we tried to kill the VG30ET in my friend's 88 Z. Couldn't do it, the damn thing would NOT die.
Yea, it had a little over 2 quarts of oil and maybe a gallon of coolant when I finally gave up and just pulled it out.

A million miles? You drive a lot man... I doubt I've put even 100k on ALL my cars combined in the ~10 years I've been driving.
Well, to be honest, I bought it used with nearly half that on it already. But even so, you're right, I rode that car hard and put it away wet. Probably the most reliable car I've ever owned.

I have a log that goes back to 96. Prior to that the car didn't need much work, but I've spent $8700 on repairs and maintenance since 96 and $734 on oil changes, mostly parts cost since I typically do my own work. If I actually paid someone to maintain this car it would have gone to the scrap heap years ago.

2002 is when I picked up my 86.5 black car. (RIP- parted it out due to serious amounts of structural rust) Had 187k on it. Picked up the white car about two years ago, no engine, no tranny, otherwise complete with 100k on it. Hasn't had a motor in it since I bought it. One day I'll get re-motivated and finish the project. I haven't had a running Supra in 5+ years at this point, partially because I was constantly changing my mind as to which direction I would build it, and partially because I got tired of doing little mods to my old black car and still having it look like a rolling anus. Time to build it once, build it right.

Never had a clue what these care were until that time!

I got my mk3 when I was 16.5yo.. Pretty serious car for a HS kid I know. I had a built 7m with a 60-1, it supposedly made 400whp. As time went on I believed it made ~320whp. Needless to say I had the coolest, and fastest car at school. ahaha. My 7m spun a bearing a few weeks after I started my first college semester, so I drove my dads Suburban til I finished up my 2jz swap. Its been the same way since minus the new aggressive aggressive fit RPF-01s. I bought an Evo8 probably ~8 monthes ago now and i've kind of put my mk3 on the back burner while i've been tinkering with my evo. My evo is just a really serious sounding(super high lift cams) 300awhp fun DD/road course car with aggressive aggressive fit ~takata green Rota Grids. ahaa I love aggressive fit wheels if you couldnt tell. Although there are several 500awhp Subarus around Reno ive been recently motivated to reach my 650rwhp goal.

I've been into supras for almost 10 years now. Researching and looking at forums... I think my SF account says 03 lol

As for owning a supra, I've had one since 05 off and on. My first turbo was in 07, picked it up with intent to put it back together. I did and it would have ran, but after it not starting and me checking everything trying to figure out why it didn't wanna. 12 bent valves and a warped head ended that project and blended in with my black supra because i parted that one out, to get the black one i have now. Personally i love these cars, and its hard for me to get out of one, which might be what i have to do now. IDK i've wanted one of these cars since I was 13years old, i've owned 5 and maybe working on a sixth but i'll just have to see how things work out.

When my brother came back from Japan in 96, his story's about theses Japanese cars called Skylines and supra's beating just about everything anything on the streets of Japan is what turned me on to the import racing scene, also when he brought home Gran Turismo for the first time. I always loved lifted toyota trucks, my father had a lifted 85 toyota

that I loved to death even after my older brother rolled it in 1992 :( sad day. I first became a supra owner February 6th 2002, I have owned 4 supras since then, one 7mge, two 7mgte's and two 1jzgte's. I don't really see myself selling out unless I have a good reason.

STORY TIME: Well I bought my First supra when i was 17. it was a 4/86 Hardtop auto. about 6 months after that i bought an 89 Turbo Targa Auto for 350 Bux.. i knew VERY very Very little about cars back then. and found out the frame was weak anyway so it sat until 3 months later i blew the hg on the 86. then i sold both To buy an 89 turbo targa 5 speed that had a full 3", Solid Mounts, and a Mbc. @ 11 lbs on the stock ct that car made 295whp and 350wtq.. some asshole in a lifted truck backed up over the hood shortly after....Thats when i found my current car 1992 Supra Turbo Sunroof Car. White Package Blue Leather etc.. bought with Rod knock, and a burned clutch..(later discovered a blown turbo as well lol) ive had that a little over a year now, and have been through hell.. im only 19,so i'm still learning, but i have been through a fair deal with the hot blooded whores we have all come to love.,,,wow sorry for the Giant post
