Wouldn't a lot of seals be dried up and junk by now? Also, if it has spent considerable amount of time in a show room like that, exposed to lots of light....with factory red paint....I'm pretty sure if you were to take a closer and proper look at it it would be fading.

Any time you have a piece of rubber that's not lubricated for that long, you're bound to have dried up and cracked rubber all over. The car would need plenty of work just to get going 'right'. Makes me wonder how much that would cost, if you could even get all the seals needed...

The story goes like this (whether true or not is anyone's guess)

A guy bought it new in 1990, took it home, did not remove any of the protective plastics etc... parked it in a temp and humidity controlled building, started it and drove it 1km up to OP temp every month or every other month (if you do the math) for 16 years... that is when I guess this dealer bought it from him, so been there for 4-5 years... I should have pics of the engine bay coming...

Even though that asking price is very high, I bet they are completely correct about it being the only one in the world. Unless, that is, Toyota has one or two stored away that we dont know about.

Toyota has quite a few Supras in it's collection, but that's in Japan.
