Charles, by the time you get around to actually putting those things to use, there won't be any gas powered vehicles left on the road.

Loki the Ausy soarer guys having been doing this mod for years, Jspec 440cc+2jz map, fuel cut is 18psi.
that's what i've been hearing about that combo, but i have that same mod and still i'm hitting fuel cut around 1 bar.. how is it that you guys are hitting it at 16/18 psi?

you know i took my car around the block again and i swore it hit fuel cut at 1.1 bar.... but i am running an Aristo 2jzgte ecu..... could my ecu have the roughly 15-16psi fuel cut?

I don't know how credible this is, but I was once told that injectors are good up to the hp of their cc. (i.e. 370cc good for around 370hp etc.)

Anyone wanna confirm or disprove this?

You should never run an injector up to 100% duty. 370s would not be good for 370hp. 440s would be good for 370s. I think the acceptable level is 80%. Any more than that and you can be playing with fire.

Not only does running injectors on the edge leave chance for failure of the injectors but also, you have no where to go should you experience boost spike or boost creep.

What happens when you're running on a cold night and your boost creeps up higher than normal? No extra fuel to cover your ass. People lose engines that way.

Although you are right when dealing with Supras, the CC to hp correlation is close. I think this holds true for 6cyl engines though. Not sure about others... 6 440cc injectors for a 1J and 4 440cc injectors for some other 4cyl engine is different.
