Who here has a documented 500+ RWHP 7M?

It's NOT as easy as bolting on the biggest Turbo you can find....... :nono:
(and NO I don't mean who has 500+ Potential but who has and does actually run their car on the street at 500+?)

"but its not enough to make a 3800lb car "Fast"... especially when you consider that STOCK STi's and Evos can run door-to-door w/ a 400rwhp mk3."

A stock evo can run with a 400rwhp supra??????????? Since when? I go to the track all the time and see countless EVO's and STI's running mid 13's with minor bolt-on's. Which is not comparable to the mid to high 12's at about 115mph that I run on my low boost setting (which happens to be right around 400rwhp). Not to mention, these EVO's and STI's are out-60footing me with there clutch burning AWD launches. A stock EVO puts about 230-240hp to the wheels and weighs about 3200lbs. Sorry, the power to weight ratio is not there.

BTW, MK3 supras are closer to 3600lbs.

I agree with the above, dont se a stock evo beating me except from a dead stop, from a roll dont see it though. My cars weight on a junk yard scale was 3580lbs with out spare tire in car.

from a roll, 600's and 750's will go down to 400-500rwhp supras.

Im gonna have to beg to differ on this one... it took a 640whp camaro(similar in weight to the mkiv) to barely beat my stock 750 (well, piped lowered and stretched at that time) from a roll. Unless its a 500whp miata, i dont see 500whp trapping 133....

I am confident that i will put down well over 500rwhp, it is my DD but not a good one, its a bitch to idle cold....anyways i am currently running 12psi around town which i estimate to be about 370-390hp and it hauls ass. my buddy has a stage 2 Sti with the COBB tuned ecu and all that jazz. we hit it up from a 40 mph roll last weekend and he hung at my gas door through second and i pulled away from him in third, by the time i hit 110 i had 1-2 car lengths on him. it was actually closer then i thought it would be, but as for that whole stock sti thing hanging with 400 hp mk3's you can flush that down the shitter.

as for some of the before posts that bikes can run 8's and 9's on a strip:dunno: i must be missing something, i am at the track twice a month (usually watching tho) and 600 bikes are mid 12's to mid 13's 1000cc bikes are usually high 10's to high 11's with a good rider. however there is usually a turbo hyabussa there which makes 450hp to the SINGLE rear wheel and he runs high 7's to low 8's at about 165-170mph. that is one knarly ass bike, and i must say that guy has extremely large balls.

IJ is right as usual. If 400/500 rwhp is so easy to get, why dont more people make that much power. I havent read through this entire thread, but I am going to have to say 400 rwhp is not easy to achieve. Let me correct myself, Its not easy to hit that power and maintain it. Many have or can hit 400 hp, but it isnt going to last long. It takes a lot more to reliably retain a high hp car than most even think about. I have invested most of my earnings from my last 2 years of employment into my car. I will probably need a change of undeRwear if I can hit 400whp. And to say a 400whp car is slow, I have to disagree. Then again I havent ridden in any car putting down that much power.

As for the whole bike thing. Most people can't ride for shit. If you run into someone who can ride well, you will get surprised, I promise. I have seen a 600 stay in front of a mustang putting down over 500 whp, to at least 130 or 140. Then watched the same car wax a 750.

Honestly....Anything below 450 IS easy. Upgraded CT territory, and you can keep some of the stock fuel components at 400 no problem. Just gotta make sure your car is solid in the first place, coolant hoses aren't all ready to pop etc.
