hehe guns are fun.... .22 is plenty good for making squilealls STFU in the wee hours of the morning. not many things bring a smile to my face like squeezing off a few .308 rounds at critters that wake me up at my mother's acreage though..

i say nice buy on the .40! i cant wait to get my FAC and buy a few boom sticks of my own

pistols are nice but if someone ever broke in here i think the sound of one of these cocking would scare most..

If the badguy can hear you chamber a round, he just knows where to shoot. You should have already had a round in the chamber. You just let the badguy get the first shot in.

Also I have to say it because it's bugging the crap out of me. It's MAGAZINES!!!! They are not called clips. There is not a single modern rifle in the world that uses clips, nor has any pistol ever used a clip. Of the tens of thousands of different firearms, maybe only two have ever used clips.

ive got 2 kids running around, i usually have the mag in the headboard, so i have to put that in and cock it.

besides, anyone coming in the house would have to come up stairs, knowing my house setup even if they did hear it and know the general area im in wont save thier rear either way.

plus i have a set of ir goggles.....ide see him before he saw me.

theres only 2 ways in my house, and theyde make alot of noise getting in either ;)

Are guns really that fun to shoot? I've never gotten into them, but always wondered what the fascination was.

Maybe I should try one.

They really are. Shoot a milk jug full of water. Pulling the trigger and seeing something explode is awesome.

I havn't gone to the range with it yet, but its alot bigger than that little 22 cal semi that I use to knock off ground hogs and raccoons with...

how you like that 45 , does it have a lot of kick back to it ?

might not have time to shot mine yet since i'm getting ready to go out on another nuke job in a few days...

Will

kicks pretty good, but still very accurate.

last time at the range, some young guys were there with a 9. when we started with the 45, made the 9 sound like a cap gun. then on the other side, 2 guys had a 22. one came over and said "damn, what are you shootin?" i said 45 and his buddy said to him "come on man, u cant tell? sounds like a damn shotgun"

so it gets a lot of attention :icon_bigg
