finished the box for my head

This little project originally started out as one of these
72Coupe-1.jpg

I got the bugger for 200 broken, and wires everywhere. Re soldered everything and replaced everything that was broken (all 6l6 tubes and 12ax7's, as well as 3 fuses), then gigged with that for over a year with no problems. Now we are playing bigger venues, so since i only work scarcely at my regular job, i decided that i would turn my little combo that could, into a bigger more well rounded half stack. I also finished cutting the front plate (not the greatest job of doing that either, i need a better way to cut...) that would hold the speakers.
So far cost of this project Brokendown
Old 72 watt Tube Combo = 300 total
4 speakers = 2 free from the combo, 2 Black Powders by eminence for a total of 150 dollars
Wood + misc crap = 50 dollars.
So total for an all tube half stack that shall be done by the end of the weekend = 500 = Bargain = :D :D :D :D

you still got that triple rec laying around? I know that you don't really play anymore, and it is the head that i want :)

LOL, yeah, I do. I fully intend to play more often when my life settles down. I've got the urge, but so little time. I've been playing on and off for the past few weeks, just messin' around. ;)

I've been meaning to get a pickup for my Taylor acoustic, and a 2x 12 cab for the Mesa, that way I can really rock it out. (And I just miss the tone of that amp!)

If I ever consider selling it, I'll let you know first. :)
