most flex sections i've seen (if they have one) are in the downpipe.
but im sure it wouldnt hurt anything to have 2 flex sections in your exhaust sytem.

Sorry i didn't say but mine is on the dp as well, but some of those shown here don't have a flex on either the dp or the exhaust system itself. I just forgot to clarify where mine was.

from the bazillion pictures of exhauts and downpipes i've seen, 99% of them are in the downpipes, which makes sense to me. the rest of the exhaust is on hangers, so it has movement too, just not the actual pipe.

for me though, i still will never see the need for a 4'' exhaust... im gonna do dual 2.5'' once i get my car back up and running.

...just finished up my 4" yesterday. Estimated I think I have 3.5 or so inches of ground clearance under it (I can fit all five fingers on my hand under it...or a size eleven shoe turned sideways). All in all I used about 9ft. of exhaust, but I already made a DP, so that isn't included in that figure.

I'm using the "hogg performance" "augmentor" muffler, which is a 24" long canister that's 8" around, so it was a pretty tight fit, but it's nowhere near dragging the ground, which is a plus.

I'll try and post pictures whenever I get around to actually BRINGING my camera when I work on my car (I have serious issues with that for some reason).

Just thought I'd give you guys an update...
