4.30 Differential in a 1jz swapped mk3??

I run the 3.7 gear with a R154 trans from factory....
Now I am big single (GT72 turbo) on my 2jz. Even with a .70 A/R hot side, twin scroll and DBB turbo, devided manifold, 4" exhaust
pushing around 500 hp at 14 psi of boost. I get full boost at around 4500 rpm. I got a 7200 rev limiter on the AEM.
It feels lazy.... Quite laggy to say. Though I don't have much of wheel spin.
On full boost: 1st and 2nd gear is OK! 3rd is so so.... , 4th it still 'climbs' but on the slow side, and 5th is useless for accelaration.
Maybe I am used to it and how my car goes/drives with the current setup.
True is that I need to boost more. 14 psi is a joke for the 72mm turbo. I also got a 3.9 rear which I think will be a great match to my
new setup. That way I will pull very strong in 3rd and 4th and quite strong with 5th.

yeah 14psi doesnt seem like much at all for that .70a/r..... amp up the fuel system and boost the SH*T out of it!!!!:icon_bigg haha

@2543arvin .... do you really think ill wheel spin all them gears??? cause whatever diff is in mine (still didnt check) i hardly wheel spin 2nd unless im really gettin on it even with an open diff!!!! then again i havnt run it over 12 psi so im prob only like 375 wheel now..... so i guess if i was gonna be drifting or doing burnout contests this would be the diff to use!!!

kinda hard to turn down tire smoke!!!

I dont know if you will spin. I am saying that you will shift from 1st through 5th down the track. At 100+ mph you have to shift into 5th gear.

ohhhhhh haha i guess i need some sleep!!! well thats a huge difference!!!! i can do almost 100 in 3rd gear right now! jeez maybe that isnt the route i wanna go... whats the best place to find a good lsd diff for what im looking to do?

Its definitely not fun having to run through all the gears just to make it down the track though...

what would it take to change the gear sets from my car to the diff from the other car?? Also do you know what gear sets came on the LSD's in the 1988 supra turbos? (automatic)

3.91 in '88 I think. '89+ is 3.73.
You can get 3.54 and 3.58 R&P set if your lucky (did not come in supra diffs)
