3S-GTE Vs. 4A-GZE???

i have a 91 corolla that needs a new motor and i'd like something with a little pep. lots of people talk down on the 20V so i'm turning my attention to the
3S or the 4A. do any of you guys have any experiences with the motors? the swap and cost are neglible so i'd just like some input from anyone with experience with these motors. my 91 is FWD:3d_frown: so no helpful go 2JZ or anything please.

you can do a 4AGZE->4AGTE swap if you want. Find a 4AGZE from a Supercharged MR2 or a JDM GT-Z AE92 coupe and ditch the SC parts, slap on a turbo kit, and raise the boost..

4AGZE's have stronger internals, pistons and oilsquirters perfect for boosting..

stronger than the 3sgte? i lean towards that motor as it is newer and hopefully in better condtion. but thanks for the info i think the 4A motor will end up being what goes in

yeah, GT-S AE92 coupes came with 4AGE's for the north american market, so it's almost a direct swap..

I've also seen turbo 4AFE's putting down decent numbers...

Doing a 4A-G(of any variety) swap will be SOOO much easier than any 3S swap.
