3g's are pretty slow I own a 4banger as my daily driver. The windy road to my house I'd be lucky if I could get up to 50 before I have to slow down. My supra on the other hand can hit about 100. I know I would never try to race anyone in my 3g. This guy must have thought he was tyrese or somethin. nice kill though.

lol ya they are slow but i thought it was funny that i hurt the ricers feelings lol and injunjoe you know that a 4g63 will swap right in to a four banger body with a little wiring. That would at least make the car fun lol

Acutally it won't (at least to my knowledge) since the the 4g64 motor in my car is facing 180 degrees the other way the whole front end would have to be reworked to fit the tranny in there. As well as getting motor mounts, etc. I have seen and heard of a few projects going on of the evo 8 motor going into the 3g though. I dunno if that's what you are talking about. Most of the evo hot parts bolt on to the 4g64. but I declared that car a daily driver, and bought the supra instead. Plus it's just nicer to have 3.0 6cyl turbo rwd than 2.4 4cyl turbo fwd.

A 4G63 head will go on a 4G64 block (certain model heads only), that's all you need to have fun ;).

I have a GT and I'll tell you right now. My supra, with a few more mods than yours will destroy my 3G GT. They aren't "slow" however. I don't consider 150 MPH slow, I've had my there before racing a 3000 GT, it's just slow getting there :biglaugh:

evo 8 heads are the only ones that will bolt right up and those are expensive around 1500 for a complete head. A Number of people are doing that, I personally think it's a waste of money. However gt's and gts arent all that slow that got SOME guts, i like driving them, as double d's but otherwise i'd prefer anything 5-spd rwd for racing i just think it's a better platform, fwd is just highway chasers. that's just my opinion though :evil2: .
