31,000 original miles

So there is a small local owner car dealer on my island and he picked up a mint 1990 turbo targa silver pearl with only 31,000 original miles on it and every single peice of paper on it possible from the 1 owner only car, it even has doc's on every single gas fill up its ever had. :aigo:

Anyhow he has the original dealer price sheet in the window and in 1990 it was $29,956. I go in to check it out and guess what... He wants $29,956 for the car!!!

I don't know what to say, I kind of get the idea he doesn't want to sell it but oh well it broke my heart lol. :cry:

On another note if anyone is selling mint or near mint 5 spoke stock rims let me know, if I pick up a pair he will cover it and give me his older style stockers. :icon_bigg

Drive on to whidbey island from deception pass and head all the way down the island to clinton, or take the Mukilteo ferry to clinton.

In clinton its a place called Cooper auto, its on the side of the highway... the only highway, its hard to miss, and way the ferry is a lot closer then driving down from deception pass.

outrageous price. with that low of miles, and mint condition i might expect to see 12k out of it, but 29k? get real. For 30k I could buy a shell, build up a 1J and fully restore the car. and make it all look JDM stock too. Just my 2 cents.

I would say the car is devalued from depreciation. Sounds like a deal.

Adjusted that is $47,196.34....now that is out of the way, can you make him an offer? He won't go under 10. Likely 10-15.

He's gonna put 5 spokes on a completely unmolested, all original mkIII? Kinda defeats the purpose of it being such low miles and rare IMO.
