When you say 300ZX you have to be more specific. That can either mean a good looking car thats hard to work on or one of the ugliest cars of its era. I hate late eighties 300zx's however their engines go nicely in a 240Z.

my buddy has a Z32, so fucking nice to ride in... but that might be the 10,000$ suspension speaking. i love them, not as much as i love my 240sx or my Supra, but i cant love everything that much.

If you are referring to a Z31...great cars if taken care of.
If you are referring to a Z32 (which I have the feeling that you are), I would have to say that aside from 6G72's (3000GT & Stealth) motors, it is the most crammed engine bay to piss with. SUCH a PITA to change the most simple of parts...and if abused too badly, WILL give you hell...On the other hand, Aside from a Supra, Skyline or NSX, I would LOVE to have a Z32. The body lines are absolute sex and the cockpit is so welcoming. :biglaugh: Same type of environment as a MKIV...just different. VG30DET's are hella power motors, but as stated, can be a PITA and to put it simple, I'm just an Inline 6 type of guy. :icon_bigg Other than that, they are badass cars, without a doubt.

if you like working on cars that require baby hands to manuvure(sp?) around and a frigin game plan to change spark plugs have at it beautiful lines but don't judge a book by the cover. I.M.O.
i've got an 88 Z31 right now...aftermarket sucks almost as much ass as the VG30 does...and the tranny aint much better.

My brother has a z32 NA. Great to ride in and somewhat quick. Beautiful cars handle great good throttle respose and very reliable. Pain in the balls to work on tho. Tight as shit under the hood.
well then all you gotta do is buy the shell, buy a motor, rebuild the whole thing, stick it in the car, and then you won't have to get your fingers caught in there.
