Autos usually steal a little more power over a 5spd due to rotating mass, but they will handle as much HP as a R154 can when properly built .

5 Speed
Stock Turbo
Engine has never been touched except a retorque
HKS DP
HKS 75mm Turbo Exhaust
K&N FIPK
GReddy Type S BOV
Magnecore plug wires
HKS Manual Boost Controller set just below fuel cut
When I dyno'd I hit 209 at the wheels.
232 - 12% is 204.16. I've picked up a whole 4.84whp out of all of those changes.
Remember that 232 is the best case scenario. You will want to strap that baby down on a dyno before making your changes to find out what your actual improvement is. Get a baseline.

KeithH said:No offense taken. Actually I ran on two different dynos - one in Vegas and one in Portland (both dynojets) and they were very close.
What I am trying to say is that your engine may be tired so get a baseline before doing any mods to see how healthy your engine is before starting down the long road.
