Early model = t3h suX0rZ, absolutely hate everything about them

Late model = A car I would want, but not neccessarily as much as my Sup!

I like those cars, be it late model or early model. They look very sharp, and if you get the turbo model you'll go quite nice aswell. If you have a good deal get it, they always turn heads. BTW for insurance purposes they are considered a sedan for some odd reason. I know because I checked, so you'll pay less than sports car insurrance for pretty much a sports car.

ive driven a stock steath R/T TT and a stock 3000gt vr4

they are heavy.. as expected.. i really wasn't SUPER impressed with them... its one of those things like you floor it on the highway and look down and you are going 100 and it was so smooth you didn't even feel it happen.. as opposed to my friends 300zx TT which was just raw and pure sports car..

anyway they are very cool, but having personally experienced a fine collection of turbo cars, i think there are better choices.. for only a little more i would go find a nice 300zx

but if you have a boner for AWD, then buy it... because it's the KING :)

that alone could be worth it, but i would really put a solid recommendation behind it if it was the later years with 320 hp (or is it 300 flat?) and the 6 speed tranny..

the 91-93 had 300hp with a 5pd, the 94-99 had 320 with the 6spd.
They are heavy, but only about 300 pounds heavier than our cars.
It's very comfortable and has alot of amenities like the AWD, All wheel steering, power everything, etc. I would love it as a DD and have the Supra as the more sporty car.

I'd keep looking, the 92 I almost bought had 84k on it and I was gonna pay 5,200 for it. I think he got those rims from Sears lol. I work for Sears and we've got the ugliest chrome wheels ever. Also where'd they get the 340hp?

Is it just me or does that come off as a really low price???

needless to say i want one. supra in the summer vr4 in the winter would be the best mix. From what i've looked at and read the only downers i can think of would be

Weight
I keep reading about the transmission sucking and not taking much power over stock

other than that i would love to get one and if you have the means, go for it.
just ditch the bra and wheels.

toyota>mitsubishi. I have a few friends that own them. The cars are in pieces more than they are running. so if you own a supra, and you want another expensive/high maintence car, go for it.

I persoanlly think they aren't worth messing with, the only really "fast" ones I've ever seen were spent 40k or more to get there. The engine is a pain to mess with, the cars extremly heavy and the AWD is not very durable, shares similar problems to any GSX eclipse with over 400hp breaking trannys left and right, they look ok but not really something I'd want, Oh and driving mitsu's my buds owned etc I have found if it has a mitsubishi badge it also has crappy build quality and generally will fall apart after a while no matter how well maintained.
