I think one bolt? probably all the way to the right. on the side away from the light. After taking out the screw it should be able to be pulled out.

Have you tried pulling out the grill without messing with that one screw? I think mine came out without having to unscrew it? I think I just tugged on the right side of the grill and it popped out, if I remember right. I don't remember having to unscrew it or if I did, it must have not been hard to do. The grill hooks into it with that piece on the back on the left side.

it has latches on one side and a bolt hole on the other, if it slipped out its was probably not bolted in or just...achem...broke ass mk3

Hmm, I dunno then. It's been a while since I did mine, but I remember it wasn't hard to do.

Wait a minute, dont you have to take out the turn signal to get access to that screw?

It's soooo easy to do though! Take grill out... remove two screw, put badge on, put two screws back in, put grill back in....
Yup. But if he still can't figure it out.... I have the answer.
