i very rarely beat on my car unless its on the track which isn't very often. i'm going to pickup the spare w58 anyway since it seems like a good idea since its cheap. but i will first try mt-90 in my car. where do you guys get that stuff anyway?

I found it at a speed shop right near my work....took forever to find though cause the shop isn't listed in redlines vendor search....the speed shop has boat loads of it..infact I got 3 quarts today for iwantmkiii.

It's not...the syncro's need a certain amount of friction to operate properly. The friction modifiers present in Mobil 1 make it too "slippery" for proper engagement...whether you notice it or not (or how severe) is going to depend on the condition of the tranny.
