So since i have gone 2jz in 2005 i have never really matched up with anything to calibrate how my car is, let alone with the T88 i have now.

So today i changed out the plugs and thecar came to life again! i was feeling the need... the need for speed!!

Well tonite on the way home i was cruisin the 405 and came up on a white Porsche 997 Turbo. It looked like after i passed him he was trying to come up. then as soon as the lane next to me was free he switched lanes to come up along side and i just jammed it and boned the fuck out while he i guess just let off and thought "WTF??!?! what was that?!?" :lol:

At the offramp mins later i come up behind another Porsche Turbo. This one silver and clean!:

I cruised passed with a little pressure on the throttle and he got on my ass immdiatly!!! We turn on to busy Manhattan Beach Blvd and as i make the right he makes the right and swings wide to grab the fast lane and BAM he nails it and i get on it almost immdiatly after!!! He comes up on my door REAL fast while im trying to grab traction in first and as i slam to second im feathering the throttle to hold it and luckily i got a good bite in partial way through second and started walking!!! Then stepped into third and shut down after seeing there was a car in front of him and he had to let off.

Let him catch up gave him a thumbs up, next light he was behind me (traffic) and i nail it slipping and sliding 1st and 2nd again then let off and hit the 2 step poppin some flames!

it's started to get close to downtoan Manhattan Beach so i play it cool and shut it down and he shoots by well over 75mph and takes off and later ends up turning down a street close to mine! maybe ill see him again! hehe!

Deffinelty a fun little run tonite! T88 finally showed me what she could do! :bigok:

HAHAH! ya if they want to play! i rarely EVER get hit on on the road! tonite was an extremely rare occurance. usually i wouldnt even race liek i did on surface streets. especailyl MB blvd. that shit is loaded with cops!!! but i never get the chance so i went for it! LOL!

btw i felt i neglected the supra last night not bringing her to ur meet, so i took it today and changed the plugs while chillin at Kaizen to make her feel all better.

You ought to feel some guilt. After all, you left your old lady home, went galavanting in a JDM EVO, and drank till the wee hours of the night with the boys!

After neglect, it's always good to give new "spark" to your relationship and go for a night out on the town.

we had one at the shop the last few weeks. no doubt they are QUICK! i hear stories about them all the time. i guess i would be curious to see the outcome forma roll though. i wouldnt fuck with that thing off the line!

A few weeks ago at work, a friend of mine told me "hey did you see that supra on import tuner magazine?" I was like probably an mk4. He said its like yours, an MK3 looks real clean. I was like ohh really? haha Then I bought the magazine :biglaugh: Your supra supra looks real clean and really nice!

The white one i KNOW was a 997 Turbo. but never really got the chance to race him since he never really gave chase. The Silver one im almost 100% it too was a 997 but could have been a 996. Minor body details im not 100% on but couldnt miss the "turbo" badge on the back.


Both make 480HP, and that's not to the wheels!!!


I'm making 475RWHP @ 17psi on pump. So it was a pretty good match up! :naughty:

997 TT- ~3200lbs
2JZUL8R- ~3600lbs

Only about 400lbs less than me, but i am making more power to the wheels then him, and have a higher redline holding the power all the way through.

again I AM super impressed myself that i was moving away. i was totally... :aigo: AWESOME :aigo: especially after he jumped up to my door sooooooo fast!!! but thats when i grabbed traction!

and i had some fun with a Camaro tonite too on the 605N after another meet. trying to find him on some camaro forums right now to find out his mod list. he put up a good fight but ate him three times! his licence plate was "CANRACE"!! LOL!
