i talked to aaron he received the wrong part from his source so no biggie. they gave him the 2jzge m/t cables

so is every one that got the wrong cable
getting a new one now
for free?

Just go to your local toyo dealer and order a 2jzgte one, why the h*ll order one from across the ocean !?!?

For all newbiez.....DO NOT GET THE 2jz-gte THROTLE CABLE!

2jz-gte cable will not fit perfectly. To make it fit, you'll have to move the bracket back 1 hole. 2jz-gte cable cost too much.

Camry and corolla cable will fit perfectly fine without moving the bracket. You'll have a small amount of slack. You could leave it as is or just zip tie the extra slack down to make it look pretty. It is free from your local junk yard or you can pay them $2 for it.

Just use the 92-94 camry cable, no readjustments required. It fits perfectly with the bracket in stock location, also easy to find in any junk yard. I got a perfect one for 10 bucks!

I've got the Camry cable...how did you guys route or hold down your cable?!? I can't figure out what to do with the slack in order for it not to stick straight up in the air.

I stuck mine under the rear hook.

In the mk3 body, it does not matter if it's a 2j or 1j engine. You will need the Camry or Corolla throtle cable. The 2jzgte cable will not fit correctly even if it is the 2jz engine.

i know at least 5 people that have said the mkiv throttle cable fits perfect when doing a 2jzgte aristo swap. including tissimo, suprastanger, crazysupra2jz all who have running cars and did not relocate a bracket or anything like you do for the 1jz

and supra claou best bet is a junkyard then goto toyota like its been said they are prolly 2$ from a junker car or free. if you dont have access they are prolly 40$ from a dealer

+1 here, I have a 1.5jz in a mkiii and use the mkiv throttle cable without relocating a bracket.

I got mine for $10 from the junk yard, and I had to pull it.

I used a 4cyl cable. I believe the 6cyl might be the same length.
