I would like to know how much harder would it be to swap the 2jz in the 87 chassis of the supra and would be needed and yes I've done my research and looked through the forums but most that I've found the swaps were done in the post 89 - 92 supras because its a little bit easier with the mount brackets will let the engine bolt right up to them when buying the specific mounts needed thank you much appreciate the help

So its about the same thing as the other chassis.. I believe the brackets needs to be located don't they ? Or just the mounts for the pre 89 . Because I'm getting another supra but the ones that I found there's a 91 but I believe its non turbo and then there's a 87 and its turboed so I wanted to get the 87 because it comes with the r154 so it saves me a couple bucks on the transmission

I was going to do a swap in my 88 but decided not to since the cost of parts was beyond sky high.....At least 2k for the motor and another 3k in random parts and a harness......Then add the bonus of busted knuckles, and alot of cussing..... We just decided to buy one with it done and change what had to be fixed since the PO took it to a half ass shop.
