I couldn't clearlty make out what you are saying here? all i know is you looking for a speed signal??

If you are using a r154 ( mkIII tranny) , then the speed signal comes from it via the speedo cable connected to the tranny then converted to electric at the dash. Should be a pink wire on the M1 connector under the dash. For a 1990 model, this should be a grey plug carrying the signals from your dash. Its an 11 pin plug.

regardless of which wire you end up pulling this from, mine was the pink one on M1, your going to find the speed signal from our dash to be a noisy and poor quality signal at best. I am running an aem series 2 and it allows to me have complete control over the calibration of the signal and I am going to try pulling it from one of the front ABS sensors. This came from a suggestion I got from one of our forum members here. Hope it's alot cleaner than the dash supplied signal, keeping fingers crossed anyways.

And on that notes anyone know what the signal type and config from the front ABS sensor is like?

Are you running a V2 or original AEM box on your car?

i am running a 30-1100 V1 AEM
so on my 1990 mod it shud be a gray wire in the M1 connector behind the glowe compartment then ?

No it is the pink wire on the grey m1 plug. Sorry for the confusion . I mistyped there but corrected.
