Hi everyone,

I have been trying trying to find a solution for a few of my electrical issues, and thought perhaps someone knowledgeable might come across this and be able to help...

I have put together a very easy to read, custom Wiring Diagram for how I wired up my 2JZ s13 240sx (ECU)

Here is a quick explanation:

Ok, to start off, both fuses and the 4-pin Relay were reallocated from the existing passenger side engine bay fuse-box.

I will explain what I used for each item:

30A Fuse - I poked around and found that the factory Nissan 30A "Cond. Fan/Anti Skid" fuse was hot at all times. I have no need for it, so I re-pinned the side which originally powered the fan, with 16 gauge wire, to match the gauge of the 2JZ ECU E10's BATT (pin 33) wire, which would splice into it. I was sure to include wire gauges in my diagram.

4 Pin Relay - I fitted a spare Nissan-Style 4 Pin Relay into an open slot, and re-pinned it with wire gauges to match that of it's corresponding ECU pins. (shown in diagram)

7.5A Fuse - I used the factory Nissan 10A "Eng. Cont" Fuse slot, but changed the Fuse to a 7.5A. (to match supra FSM)

2JZ IK1 Plug has 2 pins required for general start-up and run. Those 2 pins power the IACV ( pin E3 ), and Injectors / Coils / Etc. ( pin F6 ). My understanding is that all they need is a switched 12V source, so I spliced them between my 7.5A fuse, and the Ignition Switch.

Here are a Few Questions I want to be sure to ask:

1. How do my wire gauges look as compared to how you run them? I tried to match the wire gauges perfectly to the 2JZ ECU pin wires.

2. Did I miss any general start-up connections?

3. Are my IK1 Plug Pins E3 and F6 wired properly? Will the 7.5A Fuse be sufficient for them?

Here is my Diagram:

Thanks for taking the time to look this over. Much appreciated. :)

Use the corresponding gauge to the gauge on the harness

2. Did I miss any general start-up connections?

If you have all the sensors reporting to the ECU, Cam, Crank, Coolant Temperature, MAP, IAT, TPS and Injectors recieving 12V with key on, Coil packs recieving 12V with key on and both injectors and coil packs getting a ground when cranked, your car will start. Coils and injectors are triggered with grounds sent by the ECU. Lastly, you will not get a pulse or spark if your cam and crank sensors are unplugged or bad. Some sensors can be bad and send a signal which can result in misses.

3. Are my IK1 Plug Pins E3 and F6 wired properly? Will the 7.5A Fuse be sufficient for them?

I am not sure about this, so I won't give a false answer. I know if that Supras use a 15A fuse for the EFI system. What pins do E3 and F6 control or do?
