2JZ TPS = 7mgte tps?

OK guys before you start I searched and got conflicting information.

I am buying a Ron R mani that was flanged for a 2jz TB setup from a local supra owner (thanks Satan!) and am trying to see if i can use the 2jz tps (either straight up or modify it) or if i can use the stock 7m tps (again straight up or modify it)

from what I have gathered so far the 2JZ tps is similiar but needs to be fiddled and also it reads high when tested to tsrm specs but not enough to rule it out.

Pretty sure they were different somehow but I can't say I remember exactly how.
