Goals? How much HP will you be happy with (make the decision then add +100 WHP).

Budget? How much do you have to spend

Expectations? Daily driver or nice weather car ONLY?

Timeline? How much time do you have to complete this swap?

hp wise i guess around 4's
i should have about 4500 by the end of the summer...if thats not enough i can probably borrow money
yes its going to be a DD
i cant imagine starting anytime soon, and time doesnt matter that much i live around the block from my school, its just i have to find a place to do it because idk if my friends dad will let me use his garage and stuff

If you have the cash, time, patcients, and wanting to learn as you go along; Go for it. 1-10...for most its going to be an 11, for people like Aaron and Jose prolly a 2... Its not a simple drop in swap, its gotten easier as more people do it and more info is brought up but its not going to be like going turbo from an NA.

I just started mine, and to be honest, I'm jumping in over my head, but I've always wanted to do this, and I've been saving to do it, and finally have the time and money to do so. The only thing I lack is the experience. I've pulled engines and replaced them...plenty of times, but I know this is going to be a lot different.

wiring will be your biggest obstacle, I'd look into Dr. Tweak.

Familiarize yourself with how the 2JZ bolts in, read as much as you can.. then read some more. Then start the swap. I'd leave it on stock twins if you're looking for 400 whp. For 500 I'd go single ~60mm turbo and supporting mods should do you.
