I went to get my downpipe fixed for the 2jzgte swap. Then finally I
drove my 2jz mk3 car after 5 months! But I couldn't enjoy it at all

I have a strange high idle! It goes from 1500 rpm to like 1800 rpm...:aigo:
Like a heartbeat or something.Like some cars with heavy engine mods
with 290 degree cams having a high slopy up and down idle.

Also, when I try to built fast revs I get something like ''fuel cut''..
It cuts my throttle at about 3000 revs :aigo: :aigo:

My 2jzgte came from Aristo car and I have the stock 2jzgte aristo auto
ecu.Aristos came only with auto trans...can that be the issue for my idle?

I have a blitz DD bov...can that mess up my idle?

I think it seems that has something to do with my throttle or TPS :icon_surp

I checked the vacuum hoses, seemed to be ok....

I think you have an issue with your IACV - idle air control valve. I assume you are running a map sensor - do you have a good connection from MAP sensor to manifold?

Also, are you running resistor-type spark plugs? You may notice that some of your sensor wires are shielded. Running non-resistor type plugs can make a lot of RF noise and fuck up you signals.

Electrical grounds good? Also check your codes like they said above. Your ECU should tell you what is wrong. That will help us help you.

Is it cutting out like that while driving?
It could be any of these things :

MAP is disconnected,
TPS is misaligned
Ignitor is bad.

I would check these things...

I think so too. If the TPS is mis-adjusted, the ECU may not get the idle signal, and never try to adjust the ISCV. It will also play games with your acceleration enrichments, causing the revving issued you described.

I would start by reading the 2JZ TSRM, and follow the TPS adjustment procedure.

No...I don't get any codes. No check engine light. Is there a way to read
the codes...if any? I knew what to do on the 7M...
Yes I do have a very unrestricted exhaust (3'downpipe-3' testpipe and
80mm Blitz Nur catback system,no Y pipe.)

No,it isn't cutting while driving, only when I try to build some revs.
I never saw more then 3000+ something rpms :aigo:

Yes,I use a map sensor.The aristo 2jzgte is bone stock.Did not touch
anything.I only have 2 blitz air filters for the intake,Big IC with 3'' custom
IC pipes and a jdm 1jz lightened flywheel.Nothing more!

I do have an AVC-R voost controller.I set the boost to 9 psi...I don't
think it is to much. But if it is fuel cut ,how the hell did I hit it anyway?
I had my throttle cut at about 3000 rpm...the 2nd turbo wasn't even on :aigo: Should I set the max boost even lower?

Where I can find a 2jz TSRM? (stupid question, but true)

Thank you all for your replays.

I have the stock (I think so) spark plugs that came with the motor.

Look at the repair manual in the link and verify that you have the ignitor wired up correctly. Since you say that it is cutting out at 3k rpms even when there is no load on the engine it sounds like an ignition problem or a problem with the cam/crank signal to the ecu being interrupted. Perhaps you have a bad ground on your ignition system?

Look at www.sparkplugs.com to determine if the plugs you are running are resistor type. This really can make a difference.

I had a similar problem with this swap. We finally found the problem. It was not fuel cut but actually speed cut. The shop where i had the swap done was able to resolve this issue by removing the speed limiter and remapping the shift point on the auto trans with their proprietary black box. Now it can reach speeds excess of 150mph on the dyno without any cut of whatsoever.:icon_bigg
