ok well ive been drifting for about a year in my s13 i had a ka24de with single cam pistons so it was just a hig compression ka. then that car got stolen. so i bouth another one and tried going turbo but the turbo hit the brake master, so i got pissed and now im just putting a 2j in the 240. does any1 know how much boost i can run on a stock jdm 2j safely. the only mods are intake exhaust front mount and a walbro pump??when to the turbos actually shatter???

The turbos will not shatter at 15-16psi.

I believe people run them up to 18 psi but after that they are out of thier efficiently level.

your safe at 18psi, the stock 2jzgte map sensor is good up to 18 psi anyway.
