2jz-ge vs. gte oil system

i need to buy a whole new oil system for my 2jz swap and i was wounding fi the oil systems are the same, because this guy is trying to sell me one but it is a 2jz-ge and he said it was the same ....... but i dont want to drop that knid of money if it wont end up working

GE lacks oil squirters. or are you asking if the oil pumps are the same?

what exactly is wrong with your engine? they are the same minus the the oil squirters and oil filter mount which the GE is not coolant cooled iirc. same oil pump

95+ GE oil pumps have a drilled section for mounting the crank sensor. Before that they did not. Keep this in mind when picking one up so if you have a crank sensor, you'll be able to mount it.
