You're right when concerning 7Ms but I'm pretty sure we were talking about the 2JZ-GE.

On 2JZGE cams its not making anything up there anyways. Even with my re-grinds there was a huge power drop off at around 7KRPM.

2JZ GE running on 7M electronics so the redline we were talking about is the one hard coded into the 7M ECU. Or at least thats what I was talking about I can't speak for anyone else.
