I have seen the threads on suprafourms about crankwalk and heavy clutch setups but does a pull type clutch make a difference from a push type? say w58 vs r154 just asking because i have the ACT HD PP and street disk and i have been driving it for the last 5k miles. stock toyota oil pump and acl race thrust bearings.

Doesn't matter either way, it's the forces from a crazy PP (RPS MAX PP was well known for this because it's basically 2 PP diaphragms stacked with 3200lbs of pressure).

I think he's saying even with the clutch bypass mod it'll be a matter of time before crankwalk. The extra pressure from single plate aftermarket clutches is too much. The only way to truly get away from crankwalk with clutches would be a multiplate clutch.

2jz thrust washer are tiny. Id bypass the clutch switch with anything other than a stock PP. I had a big single picked out, and decided in the end, to go triple just for the crank walk issues.
