Ok, so yea I stupidly found out today that my old AC hoses won't mount up to the new AC compressor ><, this is after I have ordered a drive belt from champion. The drive belt does include the AC bracket. My problem is this, $230 for new lines...FUCK THAT, so...can I just leave it unplugged with the belt on it? What type of harm is this going to cause my AC compressor?

My thoughts are more or less it will be like having the AC turned off. Am I right?

Hmmm really now?
How hard is this? Any pictures of it being done, and is it possible while the engine is in the car?

there are four bolts holding it onto the compressor

6mm allen head iirc

if you take the P/S pump and bracket off you should be able to do it in car

i wish it was that easy but you will run into fitment issues and your new best friend will be a grinder... i gave up on the grinder step

^^

forgot about that part

you will need to grind the bottom of the P/S bracket in order to clear the bolts for the a/c lines
