I just saw and episode of pinks on speed, with 1989 toyota cressida powered by 2jz beat 2 mustangs
im starting to love PINKS

Saw that episode as well. I was a little dissapointed though, the cressida never mad a clean pass, and seemed to be breaking up all over. Also, the stangs he was racing kept breaking down. Aw well, a win is a win.

That car was pitifully slow. I think it was another JZ swap and still stock. Thankfull, both Mustang owners were unprepared and their cars broke.

Both times it was shady though, the cressy went up against two ill prepared(was ill prepared itslef) cars and the mkiii won on a bad launch on behalf of the Chevelle. I don't think anyone really gained any higher of an appreciation for either cars or the make as a result of these races.
