I'm Curious-
It looks like the intercooler is plumbing it's output back towards the compressor side, although you have the FFIM. Couldn't you reduce the amount of plumbing/ bends by switching to a symmetrical intercooler?

Thanks - Yeah actually that was me trying to sell it on Craigslist. I had bought it, and then decided it was too much work and that I should get rid of it and save for a more 'completed' vehicle.

Then I realized how STUPID i was to try and sell it and let something in such good shape go... and decided to get off my lazy behind and get to work on it. Since that point on Craigslist, the pics you see here are the progress I've made so far. (i had quite a few interested in the car, made me realize how dumb i was to even think about letting it go)

Actually was doing some thinking over the weekend, maybe i'll even keep the 61mm turbo setup; and go with Meth injection kit for times when I want to make bigger WHP... with a 50/50 water/meth split, I think the car would make VERY close to 500whp if not more.

supraguy - - as far as the intercooler plumbing goes, you are indeed correct, could have had less plumbing. But notice how you don't see the BOV anywhere in the pics? Its hard for me to demonstrate, but the BOV is on a 10inch long piece of straight pipe (looks like former owner just bought one of those short pieces with a flange already welded in place) and the only way to fit it in was to "U" hook the piping under the radiator/bumper and then back up towards the FFIM side and into the manifold.

I first toyed with the idea of eliminating that extra 2feet of pipe that is unecessary, and place the BOV on the piping that travels upwards and into the FFIM; but there is just VERY little room to work with inbetween the radiator and the belts/pulleys; so I skipped it and kept as is. The extra piping is not too much of a big deal; i'm not out to make any crazy WHP records or anything; so the 2.5inch hard pipes and extra 2 foot travel distance aren't that restrictive and don't effect response by much; i doubt a driver could even tell the difference while driving the car.

You might be surprised how little lag there is with this setup; it brings boost on very quickly and low-end is still QUITE responsive. Relatively speaking, 61mm turbo is small for what alot of folks mate up to this engine.
