2j Temp Sensor the same as a 7M temp sensor?

As the title says is the 2j temp sensor the same as a 7m sensor? I bought the 7m-gte sensor, but it installed perfectly and my check engine light does not come on anymore. I was wondering if it was the same since the plugs are also the same.

I am not sure, I mean has anyone ever tested these? You can check the OMH's and see if they develop the same resistance so you know for sure. I don't like guessing, since this sensor could be used in the car for the gauge or the computer it is good to know.
