Call me Mr. DouchBag then. I love the Ecoboost. From an engineering stand point all versions of the motor are incredible. When a 3.5liter V6 can have 420ft/lbs of torque at 2500rpm, and 90% of which is available between 1700-5000rpm. Throw some of that tech on the 5.0 and add an IRS, and I'll never want for another car again.

The only thing I'm not big on is the fact they called the tech "Ecoboost", to reminiscent of GM's "Ecotech" series of abysmal engines.

Wheres the ecoboost v8

That is a marketing scheme meant for hippies and losers that want to remember their youth. You have 3 choices. Base V6 with 300 horse and 13.7 1/4 mile, GT with 400 horse and mid 12's, or supercharged 550 horse GT500. And now it has an aluminum block, removing 150 lbs from the nose. It also runs mid 12's on street tires, but traps close to 120. Ecoboost isn't likely any time soon in the Mustang.

And like I said, I really like that LS3 Camaro but would never buy it because of this.

CAIRO (AP) — The Saudi billionaire with a stake in Citigroup has invested $500 million in General Motors, the U.S. auto giant whose shares returned to trading last week after its bankruptcy and bailout by Washington, his investment company said Tuesday.

Kingdom Holding Co. said Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and KHC's buy-in amounts to 1 perecnt of GM's value, with the decision to invest in the automaker based on "the global strength of General Motors brand, the relatively attractive offering price, and the company's growth prospects in Brazil and China."

Obama wants the green flag of Islam over the White House. That was the reason for the take over. So he could sell it to them.

Unless we are going to see the 2JZ again, I don't want any Toyota sports cars. I might be a little biased here....

The 302 is just badass.

I'll worship the 2jz like others when they do something about it being so...iron.

Ford said every model will have an ecoboost option.

I'd be down for that and an IRS, too.

I get that they can make the block aluminum but I have never seen an aluminum block from Toyota. Besides, I like the iron blocks over the aluminum blocks because of the strength.

Ever had a stud break or threads strip in an aluminum block? :(
