Updates! Stripped almost 3/4 of the interior, cleaned up a bit, fixed up some rust issues, yes i grinded it off and ran out of primer :( but then had to stop since power went out. Prepped the exterior for new paint for the whole car, and new 89+ tails and trim soon to come...

well i tested the speakers out today and they sound great! im just gonna have to wait to get my rears and my tweeters for the whole sound system upgrade, also worked on the body, mainly removed the weatherstripping, more trims, and the mirrors (up for sale) as i will be getting 89+ ones, also sanded the whole car as it will be getting a new paint job, not soon but hopefully within the next few months, i heard its not good painting in cold weather and it will cost too much to get it painted or if i get a garage heater lol...

Glad to see you went out and got some 2 part epoxy to repair that bumper cover.
Need to make a small adjustment on your driver fender to line up with your door molding lines. And bring that finder out just a hair higher than your door as well, or else you'll be hear it whistling in the wind. Other than that, it's looking pretty good. Are you going to be doing the bodywork yourself?

Updates! Well nothing much went on today, just removed more parts from the engine bay, all the engine weatherstripping, cowl panel and wiper arms since im prepping the car for paint, replacing all of the round seal/caps in the hatch area, also the hatch seal, i dunno how much everything will cost from toyota since i wont be buying cheap, but direct OEM replacement parts, though i got my driver door key ring working, had to disassemble the key cylinder to find that the light ring was covered in dirt, well afterr 19 years no one knows that its supposed to be that way, and it was snowing ;)

^thanks, im definately gonna enjoy it, well as for now im enjoying working on it! but yeah the key ring is only lit when the door is either open or yu pull up on the handle, it comes on along with the interior lights when you pull the handle up/door open. then it slowly fades away like the inside lights too

yeah but im planning to change the LED while the door panel is off the car, its hard too not break the clips off the lock bezel when taking it off, and i have a brand new set from toyota too! i dont wanna break it right away, maybe keep the panels on for at least a year or so

Updates: Well it seems that i havent updated my thread in a while, since its been snowing and had a few issues with the computer, but finally got the 89 combination switch conversion done for an 88 wheel (might be for sale soon) as im gettin a 90 combo switch due to the fact im gonna use a 9th gen corolla steering wheel on the mk3....
I also got my climate control LEDs replaced with red, still lookin around for blue ones but ill get there, and also got my hatch carpet from a local member on the forums, beats having a carpet cut like my old one was...
