Due to cafepress wanting to better itself, they've decided to switch the calendar dates from 2008 to 2009 next week.

So.... I'll have to take down the current calendars, and I obviously need new pics for a new calendar. I REALLY apologize about the short notice, I just was notified today so I will be attempting to rush this along as best I can.

Please follow these guidelines for sending in pictures:

1. Pictures must be NO SMALLER than 2300x1800 pixels. If you don't know what a pixel is, or how to check your pics dimensions, I suggest GOOGLE.COM.

If your picture is larger than that, that is fine, but any smaller and I won't be able to fit it on the page without distortion.

2. Use common sense PLEASE. This is a calendar, not a scrapbook. Go out and take pictures of your car in area that looks like it belongs in a calendar.

DO NOT send me pictures if:
your car is parked in front of a dumpster
your grandmothers Ford Taurus is in the background
your car is in the driveway
your car is filthy

We want to see:

Alleys covered in artful graffiti
Mountains
Beaches
Forest areas
Good action pics (drag, drift, autoX, etc)
you have the idea by now.

Also, please try to center the car to make room for cropping

Here is a good example pic (with the exception of it being downsized)

Note: lighting is best in the early morning or later afternoon and on overcast days

IMPORTANT INFORMATION NEEDED IN EMAIL:
your screen name on supramania
your first and last name
year and whether it's turbo or n/a

Due to the rush, I more than likely won't be able to respond to emails. When I have enough pictures that I like, I will list up whose car got in.

No, you cannot call the month that you'd like to be in
No, you cannot photoshop your pics, let me do that.
and PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR PICS IN THIS THREAD, thanks

Please send your entries to: thesupragoddess@aol.com

Tanya, does photobucket automatically shrink these pictures? If it does, can I reshoot one like this and email it to you?

Jay, you really need to take newer pics ;)

Oh, and I forgot to add that no one should post pics in this thread. I will add that now.

I'm going to take new ones, but I checked and all of them are way less than the pixels required, so I was wondering if it's photobucket that's doing it.

If they're over 1 megabyte in file size than photobucket shrinks them
so, please find out what your cameras resolution is, and take some pics and email em to me

Tanya, I went out for a photoshoot not too long ago, and I took some that I think are what you're looking for. There is one in particular that I think would be very nice that has nature aspects to it. The only problem is in the far background, there are two trucks by some of the "forest." They're very small compared to the rest of the photo, and the healing brush in Photoshop clears it up easily and not be distracting. Would this be ok? I know you said no "grandmas car" but they can easily be taken out, especially with your skills. I can send you a link to the original in PM if you want a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Thanks

I don't have anything to convert RAW right now. If he has a high res JPG file, I might be able to figure out how to crop it... HOWEVER,I am not a fan of using watermarks on the calendar. I know they're professional photos, but other months won't have watermarks so it's not going to look right you know? Plus, the area where his watermark is, is the same area where I put the car owners info...
