$200 eagle rods

Well I saw this and Im wondering stock bore is somewhere around 84mm and these say they have to have atleist 85.5 does that make any sence ?

Center to center for Eagle 7M rods is 5.98...so, these should be ok there.
The real problem is the bore...85.5mm is +.100 oversize...don't think you'll be able to make that happen without a huge amount of work.

I don't understand why using 6.000 center to center (instead of 5.980 center to center) requires 85.5 mm bore. Is this to clear the cylinders?

I would guess the crank ends of the rods are a bit big

They are actually modified Chevy connecting rods that are 6.0" center to center for increased rod length and therefore less piston side loading.

That could be why there are selling cheaply. They aren't 7M specific rods

Yeah, that's just a set of 6 Chevy rods.

Yeah, a lot of work to only gain .020" extra rod length.
Although Blitz, and others in Japan make 86mm 7M pistons.
(common upgrade over there, makes the 7M 3.1L)
I would like to have a set of rods 2mm (.080") longer
to get the physical rev limit higher.
