Can I ask why you're boring the motor .040 over and not .020? If this is the first rebuild on this motor I dont see why you wouldnt just stick with .020 over.

Plenty if you drive it right.

Just think about it....You can have all the shit in the world on your car, but if you are using the stock turbo that isn't effecient over 14psi, what's the point? Go get the CT26 upgrade then ask.

and a fuel controler too can't just run 680 injectors with a lex afm it only works with the 550's unless you get a controller.

On drjonez' website, he claims "the skys the limit" with the R154, and that may be a bit sarcastic, but lots of supra owners are putting down numbers in the 6 and 700 range with R154. And with the mods you are mentioning, I dont think you should have anything to worry about, given that your tranny is in good condition to start.

oh no... lol whatever you do, please look up the things that have been done to your car. that fuel cut defencer depending on how it was done may destroy your engine if you try to crank up the boost and dont know what your doing.

secondly using 680cc injectors with no piggyback or standalone is going to run pig rich no matter how much boost you throw at it, i was running with about 10% taken out at every level and 15% at a couple trying to get it to run lean enough with 550's and an upgraded ct26 *only 12/1* youd be lucky to be able to tune it out trying to add in extra unmetered air somehow.

running 550's and a lexus afm and an upgraded ct26 57 or 60 trim and a walbro fuel pump with afpr is your best bet to get the numbers you are looking for, but you have to remember that those arent the only variables in the formula, the stock intercooler if you still have it is going to restrict, not only that but if you still have the stock turbo elbow its a big restriction no matter how big the exhaust system is on your car

running the 550, lex afm, 60-1 10 degree exhaust side clip ct26, my car dynod over 400, but youll be hard pressed to get it to run more than 320-340 at the wheels without tuning capability. especially with 680's in there.

just read some faqs, go look at 7mpower.com to see what people run on their setups to make bigger power, and definately dont just crank up the boost without some way to tune it out, the worst possible thing is to crank it up to 20 psi, think your in the sweet spot and have a spike that ends up causing permanant damage to your rebuild.

don't listen to these guys. turn your fuel cut defender to ch.3 and turn up the boost as far as it will go. and don't forget to to put a nitrous sticker on your window. good for aerodynamics and a hp gain of 5.

1mm/0.40" overbore will maybe make 1>2 hp difference (not enough to measure accurately on a dyno)

The CT is the bottle neck and won't let the motor make any more hp no matter how big it is.

Listen to Bishop he's actually done it.

Ian is right. Read this and comprehend, especially on the overbores, compare the differences between them: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44148

Also, throw away that damn fuel cut defencer before you blow your shit up... I didn't realized there was another page when I posted... I hate it when I do that :3d_frown:

Tony Ortiz put down 822rwhp and ran a 10.2 with a stock R154 transmission.

He's now pushing quite a bit more power (or getting there, anyways :icon_bigg )...so I'm unsure of what setup he's going with now to put it to the ground.

Also - For the original poster: You need to understand that tuning is everything. It's not as simple as having a big high compression V8, a bunch of modifications and throw it on a dyno crossing your fingers (it's never quite that easy, anyways); but a car with forced induction (let alone 20psi on a stock CT-26)........trust me, you'll be wanting to do some kind of tuning. :icon_wink
