Everyone was wearing seat belts, and there was no alcohol involved.

He is doing better today. He was awake and alert earlier this morning. Doctors removed his tube and took him off the ventilator. They are going to perform surgery on his hands tomorrow.

Update:

The bleeding in his brain has gone down enough that the doctors are no longer concerned about that. They are also letting him have water now. He had surgery on his left hand this morning, where pins had to be inserted. There are no plans for surgery on his right hand as of now. Doctors are waiting for the swelling in his brain go down a bit more before they decide when to do the surgery on his face.

Any more updates?

The last update I got was this morning. He was scheduled to have facial surgery today. I guess he is going better and better, and might be home by Monday. I will get more info tomorrow.

Danni said you don't remember any of the accident. Probably a good thing. Have you gotten any memory of that night back? She also said you have to have another surgery soon. I hope that goes well. Do you have pictures of your Explorer in it's current state?
